Hunger Games Series Episode 2

We need your support our Now Playing’s fire will go out

The 2012 Hunger Games movie proved Katniss and her games could be as successful on screen as they were on the page. Color Force and Lionsgate wanted to ensure continued success with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Released over a year later, the second film established Hunger Games as a November release staple. And with this sequel there’s a new director, new writers, and almost double the budget. Did more money mean a better film? Thanks to your donation to Now Playing you can join Stuart, Arnie, and Jakob to find out!

Overview
Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.
