Patron Exclusive Review Episode 81

Ben Platt caught a bad break reprising his Tony-winning role in the movie adaptation of Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen. Can a socially awkward teenager improve the lives of a family rocked by suicide, and elevate his own social standing in high school, by forging a series of letters that fictionalize a friendship between him and a dead kid? And does his deception sound sweeter whenever he sings show tunes to surrogate moms Julianne Moore and Amy Adams?
