A new era begins.

After years of reboots, restarts, and competing visions, DC is launching an entirely new shared cinematic universe under the guidance of James Gunn and Peter Safran. Built from the ground up with a long-term plan, this new DC Universe aims to unite the world's greatest heroes, villains, monsters, and misfits into a single interconnected story.

In this series, Now Playing Podcast follows the development of the DCU from its earliest chapters, beginning with Superman and continuing through films including Supergirl, Clayface, The Brave and the Bold, Swamp Thing, and whatever new adventures emerge along the way. From iconic heroes and legendary sidekicks to horror-inspired tales and cosmic adventures, we'll review each installment as DC's next generation of stories takes shape.
