Halloween Series Episode 12

Evil Dies Tonight… along with 11 firefighters, 2 nurses, an entire bar, and a drone.

It’s easy to blame Haddonfield’s high body count on local boogeyman Michael Myers, but many of the latest Halloween Kills are being committed by a violent mob of formerly decent citizens. Did babysitter Jamie Lee Curtis, terrified kids Anthony Michael Hall and Kyle Richards, and shaky cop Will Patton grow up to become the real monsters of the community?  And will Michael approve of the changes made to his sister’s bedroom when he catches up with the current owners of his redecorated house?  Listen Now as Arnie, Stuart, and Brock unmask this sequel!

Overview
Minutes after Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson leave the masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie's basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with fatal injuries, believing she has finally killed her algorithm. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie's trap, his bloodbath ritual begins again. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend against it, she inspires everyone in Haddonfield to rise up against her unstoppable monster. But when a group of other survivors of Michael's first wave of violence decide to take matters into their own hands, a mob of vigilantes gathers to hunt Michael down.

I wish I saw the same movie as Stuart. After watching it a second time, Kills is just a brainless slasher film and not a very good one or fun one. Not much really happens except Myers killing people over and over in a very Jason Voorhees way. It has a mob forming in a bar just like Halloween 4. The mob kills an innocent person just like Halloween 4. Halloween 2018 and Kills supposedly are direct sequels to Halloween 1978 but all the last two movies did was steal ideas from all the sequels! I fully expect Thorn tattoos, a man in black, Allyson is the new Laurie and a rapper casted in Halloween Ends.

I didn’t see the same problems you guys brought up in this film. Everything about it is badass! Courtney’s Myers is great. While there isn’t much as far as performance to rate as he’s wearing a mask; that we see Myers presented accurately after Zombie’s giant is impressive. I felt the hairs rise up every time he was on the screen. I agree with Stuart in how differently it went with pulling the rug out from under us and giving us something new in a slasher. While one person who commented on this said that things were stolen from the other movies after the 3rd, I conditioned myself to follow the story they want to give us and ignored the other movies. That put me in a different place altogether and I loved it! EVIL DIES NEXT YEAR!
