February will see the Now Playing Podcast crew cover an eclectic mix of movies and genres — some familiar, some fresh, and all of them delivered with a little extra love. As Valentine’s Day approaches, the hosts will cover an unusual romance handpicked by a listener, and they’ll continue their dalliance with Dracula, as the retrospective moves away from its black-and-white roots and into gothic romance territory with the likes of Frank Langella and Gary Oldman taking turns as the titular vampire.
Meanwhile, the 100 Years of Dystopia retrospective — a march through decades of apocalyptic films — continues as part of Now Playing’s 2022-23 Fall/Winter Donation Drive, and director M. Night Shyamalan’s latest will also be covered for donors past and present.
