Just listened to the review. I agree with Arnie: I thought Ned and MJ were just friends. If the filmmakers had wanted viewers to think that, I think they could’ve easily made that clear by having them greet with a kiss on the lips. I also think Holland’s performance would’ve been one of dismay and shock, Even though reality has been altered, Peter would still feel shock to discover that his best friend and love of his life were together.
